The Lancaster Professional Firefighters Association, IAFF Local 319 represents the 72 professional firefighters of the City of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  Our members provide around-the-clock fire suppression, rescue and emergency medical services to an urban community with a population of more than 55,000.

Operating out of 3 fire stations, our members staff 3 frontline engines and 2 ladder trucks.  Our average annual call volume is 3,250 dispatched calls for service.  We also provide regular inspection services, pre-incident site surveys, public service and education activities and community relations activities. 

We are proud of our long tradition of charitable service in our community.  Through our long-standing partnership with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, our members raise thousands of dollars to support the efforts of MDA.
