Updated On: Feb 25, 2009 (10:49:00) PRINT/SAVE Article

Annie Bailey's Irish Pub will host the 2009 St. Baldrick's charity fundraiser on March 28th. For the second year, Fire Fighters from the Lancaster Professional Fire Fighter's Association will shave their heads for charity as part of the nation-wide event.

St. Baldrick's is the world's largest volunteer-driven fundraising event for childhood cancer research. Thousands of volunteers shave their heads in solidarity of children with cancer, while requesting donations of support from friends and family.

Fire Fighters can register to be shaved on the St. Baldrick's web page, or by following this link: http://www.stbaldricks.org/events/event_info.php?EventKey=2009-1057 You can also make a donation or volunteer online.

For more information, contact Fire Fighter Billy Nonnemacher at (717) 291-4861.
